Harmony Week celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity.

What is Harmony Day?
Harmony Day, which is held on the 21st of March every year, is a time to celebrate Australia’s cultural diversity and promote inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging with its key message being ‘Everyone Belongs’.
Ways to celebrate Harmony Day in the Classroom
+ Wear orange
+ Invite families to share their cultural foods and traditions
+ Hold a Harmony Day assembly
+ Create a sea of hands with messages of diversity
+ Say ‘hello’ in different languages
+ Promote diversity through picture books
